Star Cruise, still working the Guwahati reach

Star Cruise was built for M/s. B&R Riverbourne at Guwahati and completed in 2019. She was designed to carry passengers in comfort over long river passages: full-height glazing down both sides of the dining saloon, a full galley and buffet service, and a deck laid out for watching the river go by.

She remains the clearest statement of what the yard does. A cruise vessel is not a ferry with better paint — the whole boat is arranged around people staying aboard rather than crossing, and that changes the deck heights, the glazing, the galley and the way the accommodation is laid out.

She is still working the Guwahati reach.
